Jay and I finished the weekend by watching The Food Networks new competition, AMERICAS BEST COOK. Now, two things hit me. The first is that if youre making a reduction (for example, a red wine reduction), do you have to call it a sauce? I made a red wine reduction sauce. Isnt that redundant? Secondly, I am disturbed to see so many women (or anyone!) with longish, loose hair cooking without having it tied back. Im sure there is a restaurant health regulation concerning this issue.
