Jayne Mansfield is buried here in PA, down near Philly, in Pen Argyl at Fairview Cemetery. Contrary to rumors, she was NOT decapitated in the accident that took her life; she died from a crushed skull; the decap rumor started when reporters saw her blond wig, which was knocked off during the accident, on the dashboard of the car. She was not the dumb blond that others saw; she was actually a college graduate, and a really good mother, trying her best to raise her children herself. She had a funeral service in California and then her body was shipped to Pen Argyl for burial. There IS a small monument in Calif at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood, Calif. However, this is NOT her burial spot!
