Jayne became a mother this year after a shock premature birth while holidaying in Fiji. Less than a month later she was also a widow following the death of her husband at just 41. Jayne has been determined to honor her late husband’s memory by donating much needed equipment and essentials to the Fijian hospital that cared for her and her daughter, Maddi. Last month she began fund raising efforts and with the help of Melbourne organisation FijiOz and in September, they shipped 25 cartons of donated items, including toys, blankets and clothes to Nadi Hospital. FijiOz also donated 20 hydraulic hospital beds to the hospital on behalf of the Wrens. Our hearts go out to Jayne, Maddi and their family and know that their efforts will make a significant difference in supporting the hospital that cared for Maddi. ♥
