Jazz at La Villette Bryan Ferry, Chic disco group, but also Jamie Cullum and John Zorn are the headliners of a more open than ever festival. Thus the glitter of Chic group ("greed is good") may appear as distant granddaughters of the trumpet of Louis Armstrong and thus Bryan Ferry reveals the hand of his jazz singing crooner. The jazz-jazz purists may still take refuge in a John Zorn marathonspread into three sessions, as in the concerts of the bright kid Tigran Hamasyan and always gallant veteran Kenny Garret. Children are not left out, with a Jazz at la Villette program for kids which became an important focus of the event. Which is also a sign of true Parisian musical return, over largely expected performances but also more secret and surprising meetings. From Tuesday 03 September to Sunday 15 September 2013
