The waitress replies, Im sorry, Monsieur, but were out of cream. How about with no milk? René Descartes is sitting at an Inn in Paris, working on his manuscript for Principles of Philosophy. The innkeeper asks him Monsieur, would you like some more wine? He replies, I think not, then promptly vanishes.
