Jebus Cross, what Pres. Obama is saying Congress should pass an immigration reform bill. Either the lower house or the Senate refuse to pass a bill. So he went ahead with the executive action. The GOP is flirting with a 2016 disaster here. They should explain how the executive action work. My understanding is that it will stop deportations except those accused of committing a crime. Will they get to stay legally? I dont know. Will they be given a path to citizenship? This is not clear. Its just a stay of deportation until 2016. What the GOP should do is propose to change to a Parliamentary form of government where once a bill the chief executive, the president wanted failed to pass in the legislature, the president will resign because there is now a new majority and therefore the president is a lame-duck. Rather than be a burden to the system, the president is expected to resign. In this situation the GOP, the new majority party is at risk of losing in the next election (2016). This is the essence of globalization.
