Jeddah Press Release : All those Umrah overstayers who do not have original passports with them and want to return Pakistan, are advised to wait for instructions from Saudi authorities. According to a statement issued by Spokeman of the Consulate, there are reports that such category of Umrah overstayers facing problems in their final exit as Immigration authrities require their original passports for finger printing. The Spokeman said that The Consulate had brought the matter into knowledge of Saudi authorities in a number of meetings and awaiting guidelines from them. Umrah overstayers who have already registered themselves with Consulate authorities and given their contact number are advised to wait for the new guidelines. They are not required to visit Consulate and any other department. Others who have got emergency passport and did not register themselves with the Consulate are advised to provide their contact details to the Consulate during office hours, the spokesman concluded.
