Jeevan Pramaan Scheme Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India has launched a ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ scheme, which would facilitate the Pensioners to submit remotely an ‘Aadhar-based Digital Life Certificate’ to the concerned Pension Disbursing Agency, which would do away the requirement to submit the same physically, every year, to continue receiving pension. Pensioners, having Aadhar Number, can now easily submit his/her ‘Life Certificate’ digitally onto the Portal through an ‘Application’, which can be downloaded from the Portal and installed on any Windows-PC or any Android Tablet/Smart-phone, having a low-cost Fingerprint scanner/IRIS scanner concerned to it. The pension disbursing bank branches then automatically be communicated suitably, about receipt of the Life Certificates onto the Portal.
