Jeff Bell, a regular crew member on Oceans Gate sails and out the Gate programs has also started his own nationally known foundation (A2A which is a media company helping those with adversities become advocates) and is an author as well as anchor newscaster on KCBS. He also has a remarkable way to connect with students during sails sharing not only his skill but his calmness and joy of the wilderness we know as the Bay and Ocean. Does he connect? When he doesnt show up on one of the Oceans Gate sails, the students always ask where that radio guy is. One of the people that makes Blue Water so remarkable.
