Jeff Deskins although your passing was shocking and sad, please know that today, on a sunny early November afternoon along the Ohio River, you brought together a group of friends who shared a bond by knowing you and each other. We laughed and shared stories about you, ourselves and some of the good ole days in NR. Not one of us could think of a negative thing about you. We admired how you were your own man with a heart of gold. Sharon and your beautiful daughter seemed very peaceful and glad in knowing that your wish for a reunion and not a funeral happened. Facebook can be a crazy and sometimes a dangerous thing, but it brought so many of us together through it. I will miss your crazy messages both public and private. So glad we got to personally visit a couple years back too. As for those of us who were there and got to reunite, it was agreed that we need to get together again soon. Maybe it was small town growing up, or the way we were raised, but we genuinely care about, love and would do anything for each other. I have no doubts that if we all do get back together, your name and spirit will be brought up. How could we ever forget! I can only imagine that youre laying on the air horn and whooping it up driving your big rig through the pearly gates about now! Rest in peace friend
