Jeff Healy needs your help! Jeff Healy is a 4 month old kitten that came into us on Monday July 21st. He was surrendered by his owner, who had mistakenly stepped on the little kittens foot and knew something was wrong but couldnt afford any vet bills. It turns out that his leg was broken and unfortunately Dr Sue (our veterinarian) had to amputate his right limb. Jeff is healing great right now and will be going into foster care where they can keep a close eye on him and give him the tender loving care he will need to get better. We will continue to care for him until he is healthy enough for adoption, but a surgery such as this, post-op meds, and follow-up exams can be very costly. Jeff Healy was a very talented steel guitar player who lost his eyesight at a very young age do to a rare form of cancer. Jeff played steel guitar for many years & released several albums.
