Jeff Perks controversial exhibition ‘Political Furniture NOT a Comfy Sofa’ at Stockport Art gallery continues with Perks producing new prints reflecting on the war in the Middle East. The giant linocuts feature quotes from Politicians, Military Personal, Journalists and disenchanted television viewers. The exhibition is proving very popular with visitors especially the younger ones who learn about the history of the slave trade from Mike Rosen poem ‘John Bull’ which Perks illustrated.
