Jeff Sanderson, 42, of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2015 in his home. Jeff was born in Toledo on December 23, 1972 to Jay and Rebecca Sanderson and was baptized at Maumee United Methodist Church on April 3, 1984. He was a graduate of Maumee High School in 1991 and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 1997. Jeff was employed as a forklift operator at Estes Express Lines. A sports fanatic, Jeff especially loved college and professional football. He also had a passion for poker, euchre, golf, Coors Light, his wife and his 2 dogs, not necessarily in that order. He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca (Filipovich), his “Children” Frank and Mariska, Parents Buzz and Becky Rothenbuhler, Brother Brent, Nieces Maggie and Brook Sanderson, Grandparents George and Marilyn Bissell and Donald and Fran Rothenbuhler. He is also survived by his Aunt Betsy (Kevin) Ibos, Uncle Jay Bissell, as well as, In Laws Lon and Michele Filipovich, and Brothers in Law Lon (Justina), Reed (Molly), Niece Makayla and Nephew Maddox Filipovich, additionally many cousins, friends, and football fans alike. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 9 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4560 Glendale Ave. The family will be receiving people beginning at 8 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider contributions in Jeff’s name to Dogworks, Inc. in care of dogworksohio. Jeff’s final resting place will be in his basement, surrounded by all that he loved.
