Balaam, who was so insane he didnt stop realize that a donkey shouldnt be talking to him. God was trying to show him exactly what he was being by using that animal to speak to him.But he was so blinded by greed and a mad lust for power, exactly as so many black people are today, that he could not see the danger right in front of him. Neither can they. And even when they do they try to rationalize and justify themselves by pretending it applies to someone else. Along with the pride and arrogance, is the self-righteousness and the fake religion that provides the perfect cover. When a person engages in self-deception, there is s no chance of reaching them.
