Jeffrey C. Tam Rafii Ramadhan Eric Joon Son Now here comes my rant. I hope this is some respite for those studying for finals. So here goes the story: I was towing a UHaul trailer up California. Here is a picture. It was all fine and well until I got into the Bay Area. In Livermore, I was on the left lane going somewhere between 55-60 MPH. Ok, this Prius, this freaking Prius is blocking my path by going slower. SLOWER than a Tahoe towing a trailer! Are you freaking serious??? Next in Dublin, a Subaru Forester was going slower than me. Who are these drivers (rhetorical question, I have some idea who are these drivers)? I am tired of drivers here having no ounce of driving etiquette. Which transitions to my actual point. I am tired of anti-speed lobby and the piss poor driver ed. And speeding tickets, well, they have become a financial tool. We should adopt some of the European models. Make driving harder to pass. A LOT HARDER. Curriculum needs to be expanded. People need to allow faster cars to pass. TO PASS. And I am tired of people believing that going faster is unsafe. BS.
