I went to suction liners and it got little better, but in no time the leg was slipping off...sockets, sockets, sockets and the leg slipped off again and again. 2 months ago I had new sockets made again and the prosthesiss threw them in the trash can. He made me another pair. I took them home and in 2 hours they were falling off of me..I have done everything I know possible to keep these things on...I have gotten only 5 months of walking in a row with out them slipping off I the last 19 years or the liner sliding around my stump or something. I dont know what to do any more. everyone always says go here or go there...they can do it, they are better at making sockets.......NO THERE NOT. I dont have money to fly around the world to who ever they say is good or better or whatever.....I am so frustrated. I am at the end of my rope. I am suppose to go to the amputee coalitions event in Raleigh and I cant even walk out the door.
