Jeg skriver fast om udviklingen for dansk centrum-venstre for den britiske tænketank Policy Network. Her er den seneste omgang, der udkom i denne uge. Temperaturen tages på regeringens 2-års jubilæum og jeg giver et par råd til, hvad der skal til, hvis S, SF og RV skal genvinde magten ved næste valg: "The government will have to hone its basic skills when it comes to political leadership, if it is to have any real chance of re-election. It will have to have credible policy alternatives, if and when it back-steps on promises – so far that has been lacking. It will have to be able to plan further ahead and not seem to be zig-zagging in the way that has been the case. And it will have to come to grips with how it deals with its differences between the coalition partners, acknowledging that they are there but also presenting a credible common project. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the government will have to present a narrative of social justice that resonates with the people. If that does not materialise it will be difficult for the average voter to see the difference between left and right in Danish politics." Det er nok nemmere sagt end gjort, men ikke desto mindre nødvendigt.
