Jeg så i sin tid Let It Be-filmen i biografen og husker den som en deprimerende oplevelse (på nær rooftop-koncerten). Nu presser nogen på at få filmen ud på dvd, og selv om det måske bliver smertefuldt og pinagtigt at se på og (gen)opleve, er det i den historiske korrektheds navn bedst at få den udgivet. Men nogen stritter imod: Er det Paul & Ringo? ... As the video opens, we observe a series of events that occur near the beginning of the Twickenham sessions; mostly, George rehearsing a few of his tunes. The camera focuses on John, who seems less than thrilled to be there (chalk it up to H, as he called it?). That was, sadly, probably one of the reasons why George calls these sessions the winter of our discontent. However, it doesnt make it any less important as a document in Beatles history, and we love them all the more for being human! Enjoy, all.
