Jen Horn· Herrin, IL · Advice on violence from 2 year old? So I have 3 boys. All special needs of varying levels and dxs. Damian is 2. He is quick to anger and has impulse control issues. Severe adhd, speech and cognitive delays. He receives speech therapy 60 min p/w & developmental therapy 60 min p/w. Soon to have an behavioral eval. In the meantime I have a delayed and hyper toddler who is running my home. He makes messes intentionally, throws things, breaks things, screeches at the top of his lungs out of rage, and physically attacks & bullies myself and my other 2 children. He can literally go from happy and sweet to he might truly kill someone right now in about 2 seconds! Time out, incentive/bribery, distraction, loss of preferred items/activities, smacks to the hand, I have tried EVERYTHING. Please help — feeling overwhelmed.
