Jenn posting: Well, tomorrow is Isabels 3rd week of radiation. Not only are we asking for continued healing and protection from her trial chemo pills, we are asking for prayers over her emotions. She has lost a great deal of confidence in herself. She has anxiety and fear in social situations, fear of falling down, and separation anxiety. They have kid clubs at the RMH and the 3rd floor of the LPCH has crafts and toys in a room with trained workers but she doesnt want us to leave. The first week I was signing her in at the kids camp and she cried because she thought I left. Im hoping its a side effect from her pills. I know this has been hard for her. To be in health and then to start seeing double, losing her motor skills and having kids give her looks everywhere she goes. The first time we went to the craft room, a kid looked at her and asked if she was blind. Its frustrating for her and as parents, we just want to help her and protect her. This weekend has been rough. I just pray that she will see a difference in one of her main symptoms. If she can see that she is being healed, it will give her the confidence she needs. She will start to believe for her own healing. I want a positive domino effect to happen. I can want all these things for her but she has to walk this trial. She doesnt walk it alone. Thank you for your prayers in advance. It hurts me like no other to see her cry.
