Jennie Quimbita and I just got back form one of our frequent excursions into historic Old Los Angeles. We explored downtown L.A., Silverlake, Angeleno Heights, and Echo Park. We started at Union Station, and went on from there. We had a great time! On our way home, we were passing by the Bullocks Wilshire Store. I said to Jennie, Lets see if we can get in there and take some shots! As I predicted, the security guard wouldnt let us inside the building, but we did manage to take a few quick shots of the fabulous mural that is outside the main back entrance. Nile Hight has posted the main (left most) section (it is currently pinned at the top of the page)...Here are the next two sections...in other words, these two sections are immediately to the right of Niles photo, (so basically, this post is the center of the mural) and next, in a separate post, Ill show the right most side of the mural. This is absolutely breathtaking Art Deco-Streamline Moderne artwork at it best!
