Jennies MRI revealed that her tumor has grown. The chemo is not effective, so it is being discontinued. Instead, Jennie received Dexamethasone (steroids) by IV to reduce the swelling in her brain. She has been on oral Dexamethasone, and that dosage has been increased. Our next step will be to take Jennies MRI to her neurosurgeon in order to see if another surgery is an option. Her appointment is next week. When we returned from Dallas, Randy learned that his mom, Shirley Bailey, had been hospitalized with blood clots in her leg and lungs.
