Jennifer St Peter gave me the number 6: 1) I always wanted to be a fashion designer and Project Runway is one of my favorite shows, instead, I do interior design on the side to satisfy that creative craving. 2) I have five college degrees with an overall A GPA. I graduated as highest ranked in my BS program (with a one year old daughter) and earned a full merit scholarship to graduate school with stipend for my MS (had my second daughter while in grad school). I earned my MBA with two children while working full-time. I do not display my degrees on the walls at work or home and view them more as a personal achievement. 3) I love antique door hardware and know how to turn brass into copper and bronze. I also love wall coverings from the 1800s manufactured in England, Lincrusta and Anaglypa, which are embossed and when painted look like tin or wood carving. 4) I have a passion for perennial gardening and had a goal of eliminating all the grass in my yard ... almost achieved that! Lupids, delphinium, hydrangeas, calla lilies, iris and rose are some of my favorites. I prefer shade gardening because its low maintenance. 5) Im a very social person but pretty private. I determine who my friends are base on the goodness of their hearts not their status, education, popularity, etc. My family is closest to me. 6) I dream of living in a charming cottage on the water, small but containing treasured items with plenty of land for gardening and spending my free time being active outdoors and traveling leading a healthy and fit lifestyle.
