Jennifer Surprenant asked, Help! Its our first year homeschooling and I thought that because the kids hated school so much this was going to be the answer to our problems. Unfortunately they still dont like learning. Everyday is a fight with them to get their work done. They complain and whine and Im ready to throw in the towel! Weve done computer-based curriculum, LIFEPACs, movies and videos and they want none of it. I want to try Charlotte Mason, but they all dislike reading so much I dont know how to even begin with it. I feel like a complete and total failure. I had these dreams of homeschool bliss in September and theyve turned into absolute nightmares. How do I engage my children to learn more?
