Jennifer just returned from the doctors office. Dr. McCormick took more x-rays and will be sending them to Dr. Waters in Boston per his request. Depending upon what the doctor in Boston says, Jennifer will have surgery sometime this summer on her wrist to fix an issue that has occurred because of her surgery in January. The plan is to shorten the ulna bone and place a plate in the arm...which should correct the issue in the wrist. Needless to say my positive little gal is truly struggling to stay positive...her heart is just simply broken. She had her heart set on sports this fall and now this may not happen again this year. Her father and I realize this is a speed bump in the road of life, but are having a hard time convincing Jenn of this. Please say a prayer for her that she is able to stay strong and positive during this time. We will keep everyone posted and again...thank you for all your prayers.
