This is far worse in the car, but he has several phrases he repeats over and over again, including I want the phone, the ipad or the computer. We have always thought that this has been worse with anxiety and typically we see it spike but for the last few months it has been awful. We have explored several anxiety meds without success. We are already on GF/CF diet with no additives/preservs/colors, etc ( I am an RD so please no diet suggestions- I am well versed We are at our wits end, by the time we get anywhere in the car we are ALL on edge and it is making us not want to go anywhere as a family and sometimes resort to taking 2 cars so that only 1/2 of us will be miserable. Anyway, has anyone experienced this? What works for you? Behaviorally, medicinally, or am I missing something? Thanks!!! He is 8.5 years and is significantly impacted by autism.
