Jenny Gehrke knows how to keep COOL!!! Summer has certainly hit Qld in a big way. We have had a week of 94%humidity and now we are looking at a few days of 40+degrees! I have been managing my horses by riding them very early in the morning while there is still shade on the arena. I make sure that I saddle and unsaddle them in front of a large industrial fan which they love. Both horses are firing! Jazztime has decided that he knows how to skip and can now do flying changes every stride. My young horse, Funtime or Fun as we call him, is going well too. Its been a great week for me. Jazztime has been selected onto the QLD Elite Squad for 2015 and I have been nominated for the QLD Coach of the year award.
