Jens first reconstruction surgery is scheduled for tomorrow so asking for your prayers. Todays update: Our girl, Jen, rested well last night sleeping a full seven hours uninterrupted. This morning she walked the hall with the physical therapist and walked up and down a flight of stairs, she was tired afterward! In preparation for tomorrows surgery she is resting this afternoon and hopefully will do so tonight too. Surgery is planned for 3:30pm Madrid time and will last two to four hours. While surgeons reviewed the risks of tomorrows surgery, Jen was reminded of how dire her situation was and how remarkable her recovery has been. She (we) are understandably anxious and nervous for the surgery. We ask for your continued prayers....for Jen and us to be calm and continue to trust in The Lord, for precision, stamina and wisdom for the surgeons and medical team, for our girl, Jen, to come through the surgery intact and the same Jen we know and love and through all of this that God receives the glory!
