Jensen did awesome at his cardiology appointment today! He was such a good boy and was very cooperative for his echo (thank you Toy Story). He has no fluid around his heart or lungs and heart function looks great. He still has the valve leakage that is being considered mild-moderate now. Dr. Robinson ordered him to start Enalapril to lower his blood pressure, which will help with the leakage. Its something that could look mild-moderate for he rest of his life or it could get worse and need repair. We will be keeping a close eye on it. Jensen was weaned down on his Lasix and taken completely off of his Aldactone! Next up were labs to check his Lovenox levels. This stick wasnt the best (note the booboo on each arm) but they got the blood they needed in the right time frame. Those will be sent to Dr. Rychik and hopefully we will make a plan to start taking him off Lovenox! Overall, Jensen looks great! Hes still got this cold, which is make him cough and gag a lot but his sats are still in the 90s. We wont go back to see Dr. Robinson for 3 months!!
