Jentry wanted a pretzel before bed tonight, but couldnt quite articulate it: Jentry: Can I have a prenzel? Me: No, theres no such thing. Jentry: Daaaad (whining), I want a prenzel! Me: You can have a pencil or a pretzel, but not a prenzel. Now, what would you like? Jentry: A prenzel!! Me: A pencil or a pretzel? Jentry: What you said. Me: What did I say? Jentry: One of those (pointing at the pretzels) Moral of story: When you cant say what you want, adjust your ask to get what you want anyway.
