Jer 31:33 - “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put MY law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their GOD, and they shall be MY people.” What is new about this covenant is not so much its content, but the means by which GOD is bringing it about; the free pardon of all HIS peoples sins as being the root and foundation of this grace, and of all the privileges and blessings of this new covenant; a renewed relationship between GOD and HIS people. This implies that the old covenant, written on stone tablets and scrolls, will be replaced by the new covenant, in this time of Christ, it is written in GODs peoples hearts by the Holy Spirit @Hebr 8:10, shaping mans character from within @Ro 7:22. To restore this GOD gives, not a new law, but a new POWER to the old law. For Christ came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it; The LORD has and will, by HIS grace, make HIS people willing people to know HIM; and all be welcomed to HIS knowledge @Col 3:16. There shall be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon those who are willing to accept Christs salvation, at the time the gospel is shared. Our GOD is the GOD of HIS covenant ones; as the GOD of grace, our GOD and Father in Christ; which is preferable to everything else; all things are for them who believes; they may depend upon HIS unending love, and be secured of HIS power; they may expect all blessings here and hereafter; for in this new covenant there is indeed continuity with what has come before - greetings brethren!!!
