Jeremiah 15:16 When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy - TopicsExpress

Jeremiah 15:16 When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty. When the fishermen were called by Jesus, they followed Him. When Samuel was called by the Lord, he answered at the instruction of Eli. When Paul encountered Christ on the Damascus Road, he fell on his face, and His life changed forever. Here we have Jeremiah, referencing the moment when the Lords words came to him. The words used to describe how Jeremiah feels about the Lords words are delight, joy, and rejoicing. Jeremiah knows that his worth is in God alone - and so must we. Biblical self-worth can generate a spring of life that beautifully articulates the gospel.
