Jeremiah 17:5 This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord.” The Lord our God has given us a call to rebuild, restore, restructure, strengthen, and unite this world all for His purpose. In this pursuit, let us pray for the people in our circle as well as those who do not know the Lord. Today’s words of encouragement are to encourage us to stop trusting in man. I believe the Lord wants us to reshape this world His way, by trusting in Him, and not relying on human standards or man-made capabilities. If we are children of God, let us be living examples. Do we really practice what we say? That is easier said then done but it is time we do! We need to check every aspect of our lives and see if we are really trusting in man, using our own strength, or if we are fully surrendered to Him. STOP TRUSTING IN MAN. If our Lord has called us to take a big step of faith, and drop everything we are doing to fulfil His call, WILL WE DO IT? I pray we would always walk in obedience. We need to step out of our comfort zone. The world is filled with so many people trusting in man and not God. It is time we step out and change this. We need to teach the importance of not trusting in man, by pointing out its consequences and empty promises.---excerpt from app "Words of Encouragement"
