Jeremiah 3:14 Turn O backsliding children , saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family , and I will bring you to Zion: 15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart , which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray , then I will hear from heaven and heal their land. God truly loves his people. God is married to his people. That is an amazing statement. When does this marriage take place ? Well think in the natural for a moment. A groom meets his bride to be and he shows her affection , he buys an engagement ring , he really loves her. Then he takes her to wife , a woman that he will love for the rest of his life. Jesus has a bride , those that do the will of his Father. He calls us brothers and sisters but he is also our Father. Will a Father withhold any good things ? No ! Above all things he wants us to prosper and be in health , even as our soul prospereth. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Turn from your wicked ways. Moses for the hardness of your heart gave you a bill of divorcment but from the beginning this was not so. God does not divorce you. Once the marriage is consumated , I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. As long as there is breath there is hope. Continued in another post
