Jeremy Brick.................Our street didnt get plowed for days and one call and it was plowed within the hour saving dangerous situation.. My friend needed sand barrel again there wasnt ones anywhere near her and next day it was there. When i was opening my business i turned to him for help and questions to get going and who to.contact and even at 11pm at night he would answer. Ive seen him tackle the drug problems of the city and take a lot of verbal abuse. The other mayors in NY have full time jobs also Im not fully understanding why these is so much negativity when all that energy could be put back into our great city. My business ships internationally and brings ppl ti main street from Herkimer/Albany and Saratoga. We need to stop fighting and gear our actions to keeping downtown a hot spot to visit again. These little parks and flowers on the bikes are awesome. More should be done to promote and not point fingers and spread negativity that can be done in meetings or election time. SICK AND TIRED OF THE LEMMINGS WHO PRAISE THE KING : HERE IS MY RESPONSE : The mayor created his own negativity Jeremy Brick............. as soon as he blocked people that disagreed with him. I have contacted him on several occasions regarding plowing, empty sand barrels, other city issues and have never received a response from him. He makes promises that he has no intention of keeping, such as his big promise to be a full time mayor. He is not at city hall during business hours, nor in the evening as he claims to be, or he sees well in the dark and does not need lights. Perhaps you should take a look at some back issues of the Leader-Herald to gain a better insight as to who and what this man is. He is a proven liar and thief and has admitted the mis-use of taxpayer money. What drug problems has he tackled ? Has he called for any public meetings to address the crime situation in our city ? How many Neighborhood Watch meetings has he attended ? What suggestions has he offered to move our city forward ? What exactly makes you think he is an effective leader ? I want to take a minute to address his mysogynistic views. We had the honor of having the first Woman Fire Chief appointed in the state of New York. How did he address that ? By ignoring her for over year with NO contract, An experienced and well qualified WOMAN applied for the position of leading the Gloversville Transit Dept.. She was passed over for an inexperienced and unqualified friend of his from Northville. Finally, Why is it that the only two council people he cannot seem to tolerate or get along with are WOMEN ? You should also read the about section of this page before you start bashing it. It says Good or Bad about the mayors and it is our bad luck to have one of the worst. Your retort would be Well, he got re-elected...............yes he did, but voter turnout was very light and had there been a stronger opponent, he would have been done. Amazing figure ? Hardly.
