Jeremy and I went to see Cinderella on Broadway last night. We had really good seats in the center orchestra . Laura Osnes and Victoria Clark were of good voice last night and they were fantastic. The costumes , special effects and scenery were great. It was very much a Disney type of musical even though it was Rogers and Hammerstein and not Disney. We felt like we were watching a Disney animated movie brought to life on stage. I must admit Act 1 was much better than Act 2 . They needlessly tried to get political in Act 2 with an election ( really ? In Cinderella ? ) But, I highly recommend this show to everyone especially if you have young girls you want to take to the theatre. We sat near a little girl and her family . She enjoyed the show incredibly . I was a little kid going to Broadway once a month with my Mom ( most times a matinee and evening show on the same day) . I love to see well behaved children at Broadway theatre. We stayed after the show and met Laura Osnes, Victoria Clark and Santino Fontana . I posted pictures that Jeremy took last night. We had dinner after meeting the cast and went back to Westchester . I am feeling much better now. Today my best friend and I go to see Matilda on Broadway. This will be my third time seeing this show. I hope you all have a great weekend !
