Jerome Theriot I was having a dream about, I dont know what, but it reminded me of a lot of friends, especially of Jerome Theriot. My friend has been suffering with cancer for the last several years. I dont want him to die, but I dont want him to suffer anymore. It was the same with my Mom. She didnt have cancer, but heart disease. In the end I had no idea how much she was really suffering. I was devastated at her death yet relieved that she didnt suffer any longer. Just the thought of my mom suffering in any way is almost too much bare. My friend, Bob Corbett, suffered after a very serious stroke in 2010. He was unable to live his life the way life was meant to be lived after that. We lost him in March of this year. I am glad he doesnt suffer anymore, but I sad that he is gone. He was one of my oldest and best friends. Jerome is one of my closest friends (more like a brother) and he seems to be getting weaker by the day. Ever now and then he gets a burst of wind and he calls me and we talk a while. The last time we talked he seemed uncertain, like he didnt know if wed talk again. My hope is for a few more times. Im running low on really close friends. If you know Jerome Theriot, especially Randy K, Chris K, Anna, and many others, (if youre tagged in this post he has spoken fondly of you) he wanted me to tell you all he appreciates the prayers and good thoughts and love you all have for him. He regrets not being able to answer the phone if you called. He doesnt answer the phone for me either. But if he feels up to it hell usually call me back a few days later. We havent spoken in about two weeks. I will try this weekend. I also want to say that I consider all of you my friends. I care very much about all of you. I hope you are enjoying your lives. If you are not, do your best to change that as quickly as you can. Love TT
