Jerry Garcia would be turning 72 at midnight tonight. The most important artist I ever experienced and for me he resides in a top 5 list of his own...to steal and paraphrase....he wasnt the best at what he did...he was the ONLY one who did what he did. He went beyond music. Brilliant player, singer, song writer and beyond all that an inspiration to all of us who experienced that light. He had this way to touch you down deep inside.
