Jesse (Lone Cat) Fuller, a San Francisco one-man-band - TopicsExpress

Jesse (Lone Cat) Fuller, a San Francisco one-man-band street-busker playing the instrument he invented and a song he wrote. He was an influence on Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, Peter, Paul and Mary, Janis Joplin, Glenn Yarbrough, Richie Havens, Eric Clapton, and Paul McCartney. He died in 1976. I had not heard of him until I researched The Monkey and The Engineer; he wrote it. That means his music was played at Telluride this year. What a legacy for a man Id never heard of before. Oh yeah, he also invented the wire holder around the neck that allows guitarists to also play harmonica (The Fuller Harmonica Rack).
