Jesse Mejía is a composer, performer, engineer, and educator based in our fair city. His pieces find a nice niche in the interaction between live performance, public participation and custom designed instrument and visual installations. Along with his ever forming collaborative endeavors, he performs one half of the duo Acid Farm and co-organizes DorkbotPDX, a gathering of progressive electronics thinkers and tinkerers. Check out his public experiment 10 Tiny Dances, where Jesse combines Pure Data run audio tweaking, the public curiosity, and interpretive dance to intriguing effect.
