Jessica Lautz, Director of Member and Consumer Survey Research at the National Association of REALTORS®, which tracks homeownership rates among members, says the homeownership rate among all income levels is high, especially among higher income levels. More than 90% of agents who earn more than $100,000 a year in gross personal income own their home. Real estate is something they are dealing with on a daily basis; its a product they believe in, she says.
