Jessica is a taxpayer advocate and deserves an award for transparency efforts. Lets really explore how all the money is spent. So the Bellevue School District keeps giving fat cat raises to the same retire-rehire employees. You mean to tell the taxpayers that you cant find a better Facilities Supervisor than someone who has been screaming and yelling at employees for over a decade? Management 101 clearly states that FEAR is the weakest motivator. If you cant stop hiring friends and family members and then threatening FIRING people when you dont get your own way, then you are not qualified to lead a department. Kind of crazy that the Facilities Supervisor does the annual review for the son of the Facilities Director/Capital Projects. Wait, the son of the Facilities Director was working for Home Depot with NO Capital Projects experience and suddenly walks into to some high five figure salary in the Capital Projects department. He absolutely works for Daddy and he can never be held accountable using this family annual review system. NEPOTISM policies in Bellevue do not apply to administrators! Doesnt Daddy do the annual review or at least give most of the input on the review for the Facilities Supervisor? Go figure? The Bellevue School District believes they are untouchable, but I think its more like white collar crime hiding out what is usually a blue collar environment.
