Jesus Calling Oct 5th Joy Unspeakable - Todd Agnew You dont get joy from money or things. Thats not how it works. It doesnt matter what your circumstances are. People become miserable when they have so much stuff and they dont understand why they dont have true joy. People who become rich and famous wonder why they have no joy, it is because they do not have God or because they are not relying on Him. They are not dependent on Him and what He has to offer. Joy comes from knowing Him and being in His Presence. Just because you see hard times ahead does not mean that you should be upset and expecting nothing good and no joy to come of it, because youre wrong. Live close to Him before everything else, and all else will fall into place, bringing tons of Joy. All the popular gods are stuff and nonsense, but God made the cosmos! Splendor and majesty flow out of him, strength and joy fill his place.
