Jesus Christ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Who is Jesus Christ? That question, and the magnitude of the answer involved, has filled books for centuries. This brief introduction could never complete this question, but below is just the very beginning of understanding who HE is. I hope this begins a lifetime of discovery, a journey of understanding, and a relationship with the One that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. If you desire to begin a relationship with the King of Kings, it all begins with one step towards Him. Dont worry about what youve done or where you are, He accepts us as we are and from there transforms our lives to rid us of things not pleasing to Him and add and grow things that bring Him glory. Call out to Him and believe for if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). From there, I invite you to start reading His Word, the Bible. When you begin a relationship with someone, you start to learn about them and the Bible is filled with the character and person of God. Start with a gospel account. I love the book of Luke. Luke was an educated man, a physician, a Gentile, Son of God [Jesus] said to them, But who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. - Matthew 16:15-17 Love He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. - 1 John 4:8 The Alpha and the Omega I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. - Revelation 1:8 The Prince of Peace For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) The Good Shepherd I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep... I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. - John 10:1-17 Our Great High Priest Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. - Hebrews 4:14-16 King of Kings He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. - 1 Timothy 6:13-16 Judge of the Living and Dead I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. - 2 Timothy 4:1-2 The Resurrection and the Life Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this? - John 11:25-26 I AM / God Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM. - John 8:58 Bread of Life And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst - John 6:35 The Way, Truth and Life Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. - John 14:6 The Door Then Jesus said to them again, Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! - John 1:29 The Light of the World Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. - John 8:12 ...JESUS THE MESSIAH SAVIOR LORD AND GOD .
