Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today & forever. (Heb 13:8) Peter Marshall, the dynamic preacher, died suddenly on 1/25/1949, at age 46. In one of his sermons he had said: When the clock strikes for me, Ill go, not one minute early & not one minute late. Until then there is nothing to fear. I know the promises of God are true. Do you & I share that same fear-dispelling conviction? Can we say, with David, Lord, My times are in Your hand. (Ps 31:15) Are we confident that God holds us in His almighty hands? Can we boldly say, The Lord is my helper, Ill not fear. What can man do to me? (Heb 13:6) True, we may have concern about the days ahead. Some anxiety about the process of dying is normal. Yet, by Gods grace & the comfort of His Spirit, we can face tomorrows terrors with courage. TOMORROWS TERRORS!!!
