Remember this prophecy came through Prophet Isaiah but didnt benefited from it not that he sinned against God but God didnt allow it to happen at his time. By the time the prophecy eventually came to accomplishment in the New testament majority present then never understood all JESUS CHRIST suffered and that the prophecy of Isaiah was about JESUS CHRIST though few understood then. What is chastisement? It means to reprimand severely. Thats what & even more Jesus Christ went through for us all to have Peace.He was reprimanded severely for the offenses or sin He never committed just for us to have peace.
