Jesus can lift us up out of any situation because He was lifted up - TopicsExpress

Jesus can lift us up out of any situation because He was lifted up on a cross for he sins of the world for all time. Jesus said He would be lifted up, signifying what death He would die, in order to save the world. John 3:13-17 John 3:13-17 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He can lift us up out of any situation because He lives. And because He lives, we not only live, we co-live with Him. Romans 6:7-11 Jesus is with us continually 24/7, making intercession for us. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8:34 Again Jesus said He would be lifted up signifying what death He should die. This time He said His being lifted up is for your sakes and He said if He be lifted up from the earth, He will draw all men unto Him. John 12:27-33 John 12:27-33 27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. 30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33 This he said, signifying what death he should die. Jesus was lifted up on Calvarys tree, Luke 23:33, resurrected from the dead, Matthew 28:1-7, and was lifted up to heaven, when He ascended into heaven, with a promise that He will return in the same manner in which He ascended into heaven. Acts 1:10-11 Now Jesus sits at the right hand of the throne of God, Hebrews 12:2, where He makes intercession on our behalf. Romans 8:34 Yes indeed, Jesus can lift us up out any situation. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
