Jesus, in His physical form, was the handsomest and ‘winsomest’ aura that ever existed. On earth, His blood was pure and sinless having no appetite to sin and to temptations. His face radiated with grace and charisma attracting the great multitudes. His body was robust and muscled from years of manual carpentry ready and strong to be the untiring servant. His stance was kingly and full of authority that death, sickness and all of nature obey Him. His heart was tender and peaceful drawing unto Himself people trapped in sin and depression. His word was truth speaking only what was divinely real, never offended with gossips and accusations. But on the Cross, He eventually became the ugliest of all ugly men. He became extremely undesirable. He became close to “having no human form”. He was crushed, slaughtered and afflicted. His perfect skin was in shreds. His strong bones were seen. His tough body all covered in blood. His clean hands that hugged the children, cleansed lepers and touched the sick were unmercifully pierced with nails. His beautiful feet that brought Good News even to the ungodly were pinned down. His loving heart was broken to pieces receiving the full wrath of God’s judgment. He was alone rejected even by His own Father. At the Cross, man’s flesh was at its peak. Its hideousness and viciousness unleashed. It detested and abhorred the ultimate divine goodness and beauty. Jesus, the Yeshua Hamashiach , Son of God, born King of kings and called the fairest of ten thousand chose to become and receive sin in exchange for man. And also at the Cross, the time when Grace, Himself, finally and perfectly swallowed up everything including death which grips man to his grave. Finally, in Christ victory and life is NOW for those who believe.
