Jesus is Our Friend Jesus is my best friend, O how I love Him. He loves even me, and he loves you also. The Creator seeks intimacy with you and I. Be still, God in all his glory will touch you. Why don’t you come, experience for yourself. He will soften your heart and open your eyes To see the tiniest unnoticed of little creatures In God’s creative beauty, wonder and glory. Sights you’ve never seen before with the eye, And ears will hear the still small voice of God. God, Jesus and Holy Spirit will change your heart, To be alive in God’s living light in all of creation. Oh, how my heart soars towards the light of God, Into the loving open arms of unimaginable delight, Your heart will rejoice, and you will want to lift God’s Holy name up high, and shout hallelujahs. Praise the Almighty and personal, intimate God, Let your heart, mind and soul sing and rejoice, Breathing God’s living presence into your soul, Let it flow like a river from you, into the world. Dearest God, may all mankind passionately thirst, As the Holy Spirit freely flows through each vein, And your light will gush forth throughout a world That desperately needs a Savior and loving Lord.
