Jesus is not a historical figure. He is more than that. He is alive today. An empty tomb testifies of this. You cannot belong to him or the Kingdom Of God unless He touches you. Unless you experience His power you do not know him. He is not intellectually understandable only spiritually comprehended. You can look at religion and be disappointing if it has no power. You must be terrified if He has called on others and has passed you by. You then have no hope of eternal life and your life is wasted. You can get all the recognition by man but you are lost spiritually forever if He does not reach out to you. He has to reveal himself to you. Intellectual arguments will never reveal him to your lost heart.
